About Ji

After a period at Istituto Marangoni (fashion design course), UAL foundation course (Fashion Image),
I have recently graduated from London College of Fashion with a Bachelor of Art degree (upper 2:1) majoring in Fashion Design and Development. With my significant experience in Womenswear fashion design, and my extensive knowledge of product development, I bring an unending flow of energy and commitment to the table.

My professional background includes working for renowned fashion companies like Giles and Bodybound, international work experience at Viktor&Rolf, and design consultancy for Italian designer Fedro Gaudenzi.

I have recently completed her first standalone collection, Requiem Pour Le Baroque, in which her designs combine menswear tailoring and Baroque Era inspired luxury.

Collection - Requiem pour le Baroque

Requiem pour le Baroque

My designs for this AW 15 are hand-crafted womenswear concentrated, influence by exquisite, lavish, elaborate details from Baroque era.

Ji Yeon Kang is a brand with distinctive sensibility and differentiating brand values that resonate across a multi-generation. Also the company will introduce two fashion shows in a separate timeline.
The conceptual main couture dress line “Ji Yeon Kang” is glamorous, timeless designs, ornate luxury and crafted garments adorned with precious embellishment and ability to transcend era with historical and culturally inspired collections.
The brand focus on the details, takes pride in hand craftsmanship, time-honored techniques and top-grade luxurious materials with timeless design will be showcased first to the audience.
Diffusion line, JYK, which is a trendy and contemporary version of main line with affordable price range will be shown after.
Therefore consumers from various age group can enjoy the design in diverse angle.
Also both lines will regularly launches a limited design and embellishment detailed products that the price that amounts to the same to regular line to continually raise its status and prestige.
